I have it connected to a mouse & keyboard and on a laptop stand so I only can use it at my desk This is actually just growing into a habit, I only work on what I must digitally on my laptop then I close it and leave it behind so it doesn't become more of a fixation. I think I saw something similar here to treat ur computer like an appliance and have it in one spot but I idk

I’m always rocking a mouse and keyboard on my work computer and yes both of my computers stay in a drawer OUT of my sight unless they are in use

trying to make my internet usage more intentional by using my stationary PC build has been really great honestly. we lost the recipe when we lost the Computer Room in the American family’s home. there is something to be said for only being able to access socials in one room in the house. plus making purchases feels more serious on a big monitor than my phone screen, so financially it’s also been helping in a psychological sense

10+ year old apple monitors and my laptop, mostly used when producing otherwise i’m on the couch with just my laptop for most things I gotta do. the little table with the synths on the right is an old sewing machine table with wheels on it I got at an antique store for cheap, it has collapsable extensions on each side very helpful for decluttering my main desk space

you should not be able to give a song a "score" per-say I mean in certain cases yea but it just stigmatizes music from being listened to because one critic just didn't like it! i think there should be a sort of sticker system: - gold star if you loved it - garfield sticker if it was nice - thumbs up if it was good - encouraging "keep trying!" sticker if it was meh - sad face if you didn't like it - you decide the sticker if you hated it

i open it, wait for it to load (delayed gratification), swipe the top refs, like them, check out the accounts their from, might follow, see what the people i follow are posting, search up new music or something random (all on my own accord, no algorithm, no doomscrolling) find something actually cool that i bookmark/add to a list to check out (which i do check out), either leave the app satisfied or make a silly little post and then leave the app with no urge to keep scrolling or looking, happy with my time spent
