Drove past this house again today, I often forget it exists as the motor way is very out of the way for us. But as we’re driving to our holiday destination I finally got to see it again!!! It’s so mysterious, no one knows who owns it or if someone even lives there. It’s just so perfectly framed on top of the hill.

🚪There’s a condemned house next my girlfriend‘s house that is made of maple and looks to be hand carved. There are 8 squares with similar beautiful designs and an ornate brass handle. The rest of the house is cracked and leaking and the big orange sign next to the door is peeling off of the wall, but I stop to look at that door almost every morning.
I’m just now realizing I’ve never thought to take a picture of it.

Finally went to visit the house from the Royal Tenenbaums last week in NYC! So surreal, felt like walking into a movie scene. Kids walking home from school and people walking their dogs so casually past such an iconic home added to the experience lol

Just recently bought and set up my Walkman (Sony walkman NWZ-S638F to be exact) and it's just magical. I wasn't around in the era that people regularly used mp3 players but I have come in contact with an iPod from time to time. I bought one because well I'm an avid cd collector with a player that doesn't work, which isn't ideal. Also I hate my phone, I hate TikTok and how much time i spend on it, and how little time I actually spend listening to my music without a distraction. Plus it's nice to listen to music I actually own rather than from a subscription. Still it hasn't stopped my doom scrolling on days off work, obvs. But i'm aiming to start working on myself fully before I begin my 2nd year of university!!!! Anyways here she is:
