laying on my bed naked and clean, never thought my words would mean so little. Young and dumb. Emailed my therapist. Looking for leads and quick jobs, this is the darkest before the dawn. Figuring out how to make this into a story. Hope I get that wood I found. I got no insurance. Said I was let go, for no fault of my own.Β

I was
fightin a northern wind through
West Texas.
Just oil wells and old
shacks out there. In a moment everything vanished.
I couldn't see
anything. It was just me and the truck. I tried applying the brake but didn't get no sound or feeling.
Nothing. Then even the truck went missin.
Just me. Couldn't move.
I felt my heart beating though.
That's about it. And my thoughts still going.
Later they said I had
a seizure.
A bad one. Drove the
truck right off the highway through those oil fields and kept on driving for miles. Didn't hit anything cause there's not much to hit out there. Ran outa gas. I must've been unconscious for 200 miles. They found me in the desert near Tarzan. Got me on a special diet now.

In 2017, I took a spill while on a run. I stuck my hands out to catch myself but was moving so quickly that I just scraped my whole body across the pavement β face first. I still have a scar on my upper lip from where the concrete scraped me.
I was in shock and happy I still had my teeth. I had also just started a new job, so I was between insurances and without dental, so Iβm glad I didnβt really mess myself up. Instead of going to a doctor, I went out for drinks with a friend lol.

π²Working on a farm at maybe 16? Donβt think I was even driving yet. It was Christmas season so that meant a lot of carrying trees around and sawing off the ends of stumps so that the trees would start absorbing water again. This stupid lady and her granddaughter were being kinda picky about their tree and wanted some of the knots cut off so I was doing so. Did I mention that it was raining? Because it was also raining that day. Being someone at least as stupid as the lady, I decided to cut *towards* my hand. The saw which could barely handle the tree had no problem skipping off the trunk right into my knuckle. So clutching the now sliced open knuckle with the now shredded rubber glove hanging off of it, I walked back to the break room, never talking to that lady again.
At the ER they tried shooting some novocaine in with a syringe. I will never forget the visual of it going in one side of the cut and shooting out the other side. I got a couple stitches and now have permanent reminder of which direction to hold my cutting instruments.
