At the time this was released I was very much into Skrillex, Flume, and really getting into the emerging trap scene (TNGHT, RL Grime, Baauer, etc.) digging through SoundCloud. It was only recently that I listened to this in full and I'm so glad I did. It's dark, moody, chugging along through waves of textures.
Very dreamy soundscape and it just feels very 90s. My favorite DJ, Objekt, played "Drive That Fast" as a closer of a late night-early morning set at around ~8am and I fell in love immediately.
