"Paranoid" turns out to be THE most Sabbath album of all the many Sabbath albums Ozzy was part of. The riffery and Oz's very specific vocal tone makes this thing a monster of epic proportions from the first notes of "War Pigs."

vol. 4 was the mandatory soundtrack anytime shit was busy when i worked in an italian kitchen - still one of the best albums ever. the first 5 albums are all no skips imo.

Ozzy Osbourne - tribute
Peak coke-bloat Ozzy has always given me body horror so I steered clear of this whole section of his career, even though I love Sabbath. But this record, released as a tribute to guitarist Randy Rhoads after he died in this insane prank accident where his plane crashed into Ozzy‘s tour bus, absolutely fucking rules. Peak metal. Raw power.

alice cooper - go to hell
unexpectedly jazzy at times, but also full of 70s rock moments. really obsessed with his spoken word persona (almost iggy pop) on “i’m the coolest” - he’s got range “i never cry” is a perfect almost early rolling stones style ballad. its cool snapshot of a early era of a future legend
