go get your annual checkup (and all the bullshit they want you to do; vaccines, physical exam) BEFORE you get seriously ill or injured. You are statistically likely to gain some imperfection that might show up in your 20s. PCPs and family medicine is only effective when they have a baseline to compare you to, meaning: if you can get in and establish what it looks like when you are 'healthy' (now, hopefully), 20 & want to be a responsible human being! I.E. don't keep going to an urgent care until you get ill like me!

@LLQ it also makes it more visually interesting & therefore attractive to read! I figured it was an important enough topic to me that I wanted to make sure my voice was clear. Any compelling piece of writing makes sure you can hear the author’s tone because emotion is a great way to pull a reader in and keep their attention! I usually don’t just because I don’t have a lot of extra time

Why are so many women getting so sick? Everyone gets sick, I know, but a shocking number of women I’ve heard of or know are getting terrifying diagnoses in their 30s. We are just babies! It stresses me out & makes me want to call every woman I know and tell them to prioritize scheduling their annuals.
Wishing everyone good health & doctors who give a fuck 🦋
