Get some bloodwork done every 6 months. Start younger than you think you need to. Don’t wait until something is wrong to get to know your body.

go get your annual checkup (and all the bullshit they want you to do; vaccines, physical exam) BEFORE you get seriously ill or injured. You are statistically likely to gain some imperfection that might show up in your 20s. PCPs and family medicine is only effective when they have a baseline to compare you to, meaning: if you can get in and establish what it looks like when you are 'healthy' (now, hopefully), 20 & want to be a responsible human being! I.E. don't keep going to an urgent care until you get ill like me!

Finding out there’s likely more wrong with me than I thought because I finally got bloodwork done after over a year of wanting it. Get your blood checked out everyone!

Make all of your appointments. Go get your eyes checked out. Do a full skin check at the dermatologist. Get bloodwork done and see what’s up.
Insurance is expensive, so if you’re paying for it in any shape or form, use it!
