CUTTING IT ALL OFF
I’m taking the big chop again in a couple of weeks after having grown my hair out for about three years and I’m very excited about it!! The vicious cycle begins again…

PROBABLY going blonde again because I can’t imagine having my hair short without it being blonde but we’ll see what my stylist has planned 🤔 it’s simply my favorite combination. I think my hair is ready again because I have probably like 8-12 inches of virgin growth right now at my roots. Not that anybody asked LOL

CUTTING MY OWN HAIR
This made me so incredibly nervous at the time… but I’m glad I did it. I have since told everyone I know and am writing a blog post about it on my Substack. What’s more, I go blonde next week!!!!!!!! Exciting stuff.

one of my worse habits is only cutting my hair once per year so i grow it super long then cut it til my chin in the winter … in my mind it’s a minor adjustment but then i see the pile of hair on the ground & my reflection

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
