😃Terribly, painfully romantic, as the song is—it couldn’t be a second longer than it is because the human nervous system couldnt handle it. Kate directed the thing herself. Not only the greatest music video of all time, but one of the best films of the 1980s.

Just recently bought and set up my Walkman (Sony walkman NWZ-S638F to be exact) and it's just magical. I wasn't around in the era that people regularly used mp3 players but I have come in contact with an iPod from time to time. I bought one because well I'm an avid cd collector with a player that doesn't work, which isn't ideal. Also I hate my phone, I hate TikTok and how much time i spend on it, and how little time I actually spend listening to my music without a distraction. Plus it's nice to listen to music I actually own rather than from a subscription. Still it hasn't stopped my doom scrolling on days off work, obvs. But i'm aiming to start working on myself fully before I begin my 2nd year of university!!!! Anyways here she is:
