i love doing it, saving junk for my journal, going to different stores and getting supplies, currently setting supplies aside to send in snail mail for my long distance friend who also junk journals, setting up my junk journal craft station. LOVE IT ALL.

I live and breath junk journalling!! It's so fun and fulfilling. Have you tried thrifting children's books and using them?? Lots of beautiful illustrations and fun patterns for CHEAP

@PUMPKINSPITE YES, it feels a little daring at first because my 4 year old wants to keep them books lol but then we do crafts together so she gets over it but yess thrifting for supplies is also part of the fun :)

@BEEPBOOPBAP not sure how to add pics in here but I can make another post. for My friend I’m setting aside stickers, scrapbooking papers, cutouts, decorative masking tape etc. I’ll take a pic of what i’ve collected so far and post it :)

Writing & Collaging

Specifically in the format of my junk journal; but i also got on substack recently and have a normal journal & writing has been such a fulfilling hobby/practice. i also have been hoarding ephemera for the last 10 yrs , so junk journalling has been a perfect way to save my scraps in a meaningful way instead of keeping them all in a box that gives me anxiety :^)

Junk Journaling

Started collecting junk last year and really getting into putting it on paper. Some really themed/event based pages here but some of my faves! I just love it helps to remmeber little bits of big adventures/time frames which is something I struggle with. Junk Journaling all 2025!!!

junk journal

i like the concept of “junk journaling”, it really helps me to fill the empty spaces! keep receipts, cute packaging from food, interesting looking tags etc. it’s a nice way to casually scrapbook and keep mementos of otherwise mundane days
