came back to a hobby I began over a year ago last month and took the beginner class back to back until I feel confident in my pottery wheel abilities.

Collecting unique lil pieces of earth & the ocean is so much fun. Nurturing my inner child’s obsession with funky rocks & shells, while listening to my intuition & my ancestral urge to gather.
It’s fun to release them all back onto the beach/into the ocean with an intention, & it’s also fun to create something more later on—a collage, a memory / mood board, a jar on your altar.

🐌I’ve been obsessed with snails since I was 5 and over the years have amassed a collection of items with snails: plate, print, spoonrest, Jellycat, painting. It makes me happy having objects related to a steady fascination and I’m excited to collect more !

went to my roommates boyfriend‘s art show last minute and did not regret. Definitely didn’t know what I was getting myself into and despite my exhaustion peaking 15 min into our time at the gallery i very much enjoyed it.

I know a book is good if I’m tearing up.
And this one did just that.
Very sad. Very beautiful. Very heartbreaking. Written from the a journaling perspective of the main character who’s mentally disabled and becomes the perfect candidate for a surgery that allows him to be a functioning member to society and experience life from a new perspective.
