figured out recently that my sleep cycle sweet spot is sleepy time tea + 5hrs plus a midday nap and i’ve never felt more awake in the mornings, revolutionary stuff

My fool-proof technique for squeezing in a little midday shut-eye.
Requires just three simple steps:
1) Drink a cup of coffee 2) Set a timer for 20 minutes 3) Snooze (ideally on the couch with a beloved pet)
It works because, on average, it takes about 20 minutes for your sleep cycle to initiate, and 20 minutes for caffeine to hit your system. By pairing them together, you can snooze without disrupting your circadian rhythm. No grogginess.

it’s super refreshing, feels like you can do so much more with the rest of your day. plus the one i just woke up from had a dream within a dream which is pretty cool since i barely dream in the first place.

Your body’s circadian rhythm has a natural dip near 1:30pm and taking a 20 min nap right around there has made me feel so much more energized for the rest of the day. It feels like a hack.
