daily art app

I like art ok. and I'm addicted to my phone. so I combined the two and tried to bring more whimsy to my smartphone experience by downloading the dailyart app. everyday a new painting is presented with a small text talking about the work and the artist, and you can browse other works too! this kinda sounded sponsored... I swear it's not (I wish)

The Daily Art app

It's a widget you can put on your home screen that changes every day and gives you a new artwork. You can then click on it and it gives you info about the piece. The artworks are also savable to your gallery! I've lost count of how many years I've had this for but it has brought me a lot of joy over the years.

OBELISK ART HISTORY

got indirectly put on by @CELINE and it’s a cool archive of art history with artworks, letters and manifestos by artists and essays on movements in art. very handy for learning about art just out of your own curiosity and in a wider way than just going to an exhibition.
