GORGEOUS interior design. Visited my best friend this weekend and cried with him on the drive home from Dave and Busters talking about how good it is to be loved by a soulmate while listening to Adrienne Lenker. Had some very needed creek and river time in the town that brought me this beautiful boy so I suppose it only makes sense that its airport is gorgeous too. I hate airports, almost all of them, to be clear. PDX is now the reason I say āalmostā. Not sure how I ended up living the dreams I had before I got my braces off but Iām doing it so I thank the light through the trees and whatever god is out there and Portlandās Terminal D

šØSince I was young, Iāve been obsessed with the airport. Over the past couple years, Iāve been fortunate enough to be able to see a lot more airports due to shows and stuff. Iām currently working on a mental tier list of airports that Iāve been to in the United States. LaGuardia in NYC is kinda up there right now; I love the silly water feature. I also think the Salt Lake City airport is gorgeous, even if the way they handle transferring between concourses is kinda inconvenient.I flew in and out of Seattle for a show recently and I was super impressed by it. They seemed to have recently renovated the central terminal, so now thereās this super open food court. I went to one of the new restaurants there and got lobster mac and cheese (definitely a risk; donāt get seafood at the airport). Iām not proud of how much I spent on it, but it was realllyyyy good. Theyāve also got a really reliable tram for transfer between gates. SEA-TAC: A tier.

āļøI love airports because they bring two of my favorite things together under one roof: people watching and āliminal spaces.ā The lounge access is also a plus, though they really do be letting anyone in these days.

š§³I love the comfort of them. Essentially, you can literally stay in them for days if it was allowed. God I love them. I want to travel internationally one day to experience an airport out of the U.S. I JUST LOVE AIRPORTS WHAT CAN I SAY

One of lifeās most holy rituals. She reminded me what it is to be in love and itās mostly about imagining how flowers would look tucked behind her ear
