bringing cards everywhere i go

i always always carry a pack of cards in my bag. my cards have been to all the countries i’ve been to and have been soaking wet, in snow, in sand... they will fall apart soon. i probably end up using them 50% of the time but at this point they are a safe item that i know i can whip out if you need to spice it up with your friends. i love learning new card games and my goal for 2025 is to ask more strangers to join in and play a few rounds with me and my friends.

Always carry a deck of cards

It’s nice to be the one in the friend group who always has a game planned. I keep one deck in my purse and one on my car. Then have some quick games that are easy to teach. I suggest: Six Card Golf Garbage Bullshit Presidents and Assholes

Keeping a deck of cards on you all the time

At party with a bunch of disparate groups of people? Unite them all with a game of cards. Card tricks? I don’t know any so I’m automatically impressed. Don’t have a deck? Most bodegas have them so now you have no excuse. Pack of cigs pack of cards please n thank you Secondary rec: know how to shuffle

MAKING A WISH

I personaly love how many occasions we create to make a wish. And i love that it has become a little ritual. When we blow out birthday candles, see a shooting star, a lady bug with 7 points, four-leaf clover, i also heard from people they make a wish everytime they move the little clasp of their necklace to the back again. And i just adore humans for that. For creating these little things to make life more magical✨️

Dialects

I met many people because i started speaking in a random dialect and they thought of it as funny or spoke it too. And so many conversations started with that.
