Always carry a deck of cards
It’s nice to be the one in the friend group who always has a game planned. I keep one deck in my purse and one on my car. Then have some quick games that are easy to teach. I suggest: Six Card Golf Garbage Bullshit Presidents and Assholes

At party with a bunch of disparate groups of people? Unite them all with a game of cards. Card tricks? I don’t know any so I’m automatically impressed. Don’t have a deck? Playing Cards
I just always carry a deck of cards with me whereever i go and when the conversation gets dry i just offer to play a round of cards.

Six card golf
Can be played with a normal deck of cards! (I linked the rules) Can also be played with more than two players. It’s a perfect “waiting around for food at a restaurant” game.
