i like to observe my surroundings and think about what to write while iām in a different place than when i started writing. like i can never concentrate when iām in my room. iām a journalism major so that means iām writing a lot, and when i would get writers block with my stories, i would go to my favorite cafe, order a matcha latte and a sweet treat, turn on some good music to romanticize the moment, and then the words would just come to me. sometimes i would just go to the library or move from my desk to the couch if i couldnāt make it to a coffee shop. a change of scenery just works for me!
