after growing up in LA my whole life hearing about Wi Spa, i finally went for the first time this past week.
there is something so special and ancient about getting naked together to clean ourselves. i feel this way when i listen to live music at a bar, i think about how long people have been doing this activity for and it fills me with this sense of pride and joy i relish because it’s rare to feel so good about being human. it’s nice to feel a part of a thousands of years long legacy
i’m heavily tattooed and hairy so i was nervous about being naked but no one was judgmental or strange, all the opposite. i saw every kind of person of every age and size and identity. i even made a friend in the hot tub! it felt good to have my naked body feel so casual, so understated. all the amenities were incredible. the massage i got was out of this world and so worth the price (always tip!!) oh and the food in the cafe was delicious!!! all in all it was a perfect night that i will be forever grateful for ❤️
