and also that I can do whatever I want if I try !!!! heavily considering starting to do concert photography and maybe learning how to play hockey while I'm on my gap year. I think it would be fun

💡this year has been all about getting “out there” for me. since i’ve been doing concert photography more, i’ve come to realize that it really never hurts to ask - even if the ask seems outlandish at the time. if the opportunity doesn’t open itself up to you, then it wasn’t meant for you anyways!
i am someone who deals with imposter syndrome quite a bit, and i’ve had to come to realize that i have to do the scary things in order for me to achieve what i want to (and to make them not so scary over time)!
this applies to relationships as well, but i’m not so much focused on that in this particular phase of life as i am on my hobbies/career.
anyways: DO THE SCARY THING. ASK THE SCARY/CRAZY QUESTION. YOU’LL NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON’T TRY. DON’T LIVE A LIFE OF “WHAT IFS”!

⭐like actually going out and trying things. put in an effort and take pride in that (being effortless is soooo out for 2024). use this platform to find new amazing things! you can never really know what you like and what brings you joy and fulfillment and all that cheesy stuff unless you actually go and really try a bunch of stuff. I love trying!

❌Sometimes I talk to my family or my coworkers or I hear an influencer online say “I’m just a girl hahaha” and I am like oh my godddd how can you still think like “blue means boy pink means girl” !!! And this literally affects their view on everything!!! What do you mean you think female dogs are “more drama” than male dogs!! They’re dogs!!! Get me out of here!!!!

finally using my portable CD player again to listen to my favorite album that isn't on any streaming services anymore!! it's so fun to have physical copies of media I like, and it was great to not use my phone for once (though the CD would pause every time I accidentally bumped into the player while I was walking to class; it was kind of charming but also pretty annoying).
