πThis was a team effort between me and my best friend, we run a lgbtq+ organization in our small town. We did face some backlash but the event was a huge success. The setbacks were the music I had booked cancelled, and we had to find some more music last minute as well as my band performing as a duo. Iβm mostly proud of my friend because he did the majority of the work when things didnβt go as planned.

5mi hike All. Up. Hill. but i can't complain, my state is just so beautiful. also saw evil BOYS from high school (why does this keep happening to me). ended the day with playing on the playground and bruising every one of my limbs. I LOVE SUMMERTIMEEEEEEEEE

weekly blog post about my outdoor adventures:
went out to hammock, as one does, and was very contently enamored by my book. (Little Fish by Casey Plett, if you were curious) overheard some trees/bushes rustling next to me and poked my head out. baby bear! five ft away from me! climbing a tree! they immediately took off, i'm sure spooked by the scary caricature head appearing out of nowhere.
and on the way down from a hike, i got to see a mama bear and her two cubs (pictured) playing in the grass and eating dandelions. So good.
