Look, I'm a little purse freak, I won't lie. But she was a dollar and I know I can teach her to love again. Also, I'm going to Philly for 3 days in November and she'll carry my necessities without letting me over burden myself.

@SAYLOR thank you! It didn't take long, tbh, and I slathered on more conditioner today and she drank it up

for about a month since I’ve been reunited with her. it’s from the 60s or 70s and I bought it at a vintage shop in the mountains in New Mexico when I was 19 we were separated until my dear sister found it in her closet and shipped it to me with an assortment of dried chile peppers from home!!! 🌶️ beat up suede (that could obviously use a good cleaning…) with a metallic gold leather strap + interior and sassy red zippered pocket… two compartments on the inside. Less relevant to your question because I don’t need to carry much I like to keep it light! but I still wanted to share 🫶

Have this leather duffel bag I really like and have used for a while now when I’m traveling. Zippers broke and got completely messed up. Could ask for a new one for a gift or save up/splurge sometime on a new one but nah, I like this one, I like all the scuffs and wear on it as reminders of all the good times and places I’ve been to with it! Dropped it off at my local luggage repair shop for a new zipper today!

I love all 6 of my purses and I think they all deserve to be utilized as much as possible instead of letting them rot in the closet. It feels amazing going to work with a different purse every week… like a personal rebrand or something. Plus every time you rotate you get the chance to throw out trash and/or receipts that you kept in the purse. Also I love when my purse gets sooo full I feel like Jane Birkin Anyway, purse of the week:

The first album that I bought was a .25 yardsale cassette of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours. No case or album art. I couldn't even tell you why I chose it but I was absolutely hooked when I popped it in my tape player when I got back home. If we're talking full price CDs from the store, my first was Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My dad told me not to waste my money buying an album for just one song. I had to insist that there were 3 songs that I knew I liked and I wanted the album to see if there were more. There were, in fact, a couple more songs I liked but, if my memory is right, I only really listened to the first half and then really disliked the second half.

I know they're plastic but I try not to buy new stuff until the old thing dies. And they just won't die. I don't wash them daily, maybe once to twice a week? I haven't had any issues with mold. I haul it everywhere, all day, everyday.
