“They used a razor on your layers? That’s why it looks so stringy” etc. I know they are saying it to try to make you feel comforted that they’ll fix it… but come on! This is haircut has been on my head for the last six months, be nice!
i got violated at the barbershop and it has thrust me into a state of reflection. a lot of my mental has been anger and terror because my hair has been fucked up but otherwise this has given me the freedom to feel like i can finally change my hair from what i’ve had for years.
I was wearing my painting overalls and stopped to talk to the mailman. He goes “We are both wearing our Busytown outfits.” I go “Say what?” And he goes “An outfit that matches our jobs!” He was so right.
Christmas acts like it has this ownership over those colors, but wrong: Tomatoes! Strawberries! Roses! Olives! The list goes on. No more assuming I’m dressing for the holiday: I’m matching my fav vegetation.
