can we abandon boring names ?
I mean I don’t mind the odd “John” as long as they have the required characteristics to be a “John” but there’s too many of these bottom of the barrel names just littered around. Although i dont understand why certain people name their children after random (particularly abstract) nouns, who the fuck is “serenity” , do they embody a certain sense of inner peace? Unlikely. On the topic, why does the name “savannah” exist? We need some more ecosystem-related names, not just this C-tier, gazelle inhabited dust bowl.

for a boy - elijah byrd, benjamin jay. byrd is a family name and i love love love the name elijah. jay is a mix of my dads first and my moms middle name (neither one of them have middle name first names and i think its important to honor family members that you love with middle names
for a girl - juniper irene, gwendolyn (wendy) claire. okay, so the stuff i said about middle names goes out the window with juniper irene... i just think its pretty. i know juniper is kind of trendy rn but i think its so so so cute. as for gwendolyn claire... long story. i believe in names with nickname potential and i think wendy is so so cute. im a blink 182 fan and my favorite song by them is wendy clear.... wendy claire... wendy clear.... you get it. me and my mom also listen to a lot of blink together so its honoring her!!!
