pack ramen kinda sucks,, i‘ve been making this instead and it rocks sooo much harder. its also EXTREMELY easy, takes maybe 10 minutes of prep. 2 packs of ramen 1 thinly sliced scallion 2 tablespoons thai chili sauce 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1/4th tsp of garlic powder red pepper flakes mix all the liquid ingredients and the garlic powder in a bowl, toss the unseasoned ramen in the sauce, garnish with scallions, and add red pepper flakes to taste. sooooo good. so easy. love you all!

I‘ve shared the virtues of fancy salad, but there is also fancy ramen. A staple in our home. Toss the flavor pack. I make a simplified version of the (linked) recipe; adding butter, tomato paste, and ginger are key. I also use miso or a stock concentrate as my broth base. For toppings, go nuts! In this photo, I included baked tofu, medium-boiled egg, jalapeño, and kimchi. A few sprinkles of Everything Bagel seasoning are also nice and recommend. Typically takes me 30min to make. Fast, easy, and delicious.

get a pack of instant ramen (black garlic obvi the best), yu choy, thin sliced beef OR if u like fish cakes get fish cakes. drop a whisked egg in there and you got yrself a meal! really easy v minimal prep and clean up
🍜
i’ll make some ramen noodles and instead of leaving them in the soup, i stir fry them with frozen veggies, soy sauce, sesame oil, and teriyaki sauce and sprinkle some everything bagel seasoning on top. if i‘m feeling crazy i’ll put some nori and chicken in there too.

by Josh T. Peterson, 2011 heard this album for the first time yesterday and i was really blown away. really inspiring guitar work, evocative lyricism, and just a deep melancholic, longing atmosphere throughout the albums hour long runtime. Peterson formally was the vocalist for Lift to Experience, a short lived post rock / shoegaze band from texas who released the high concept, biblically inspired album the Texas-Jerusalem crossroads in 2001. one of my favorite albums, and listening to his solo stuff really cemented him as one of my favorite songwriters. even if you typically don’t like the country-adjacent singer songwriter stuff i’d highly recommend checking this out.
