Whether that’s with a joke or a low stakes question, I try to get myself to remember—it doesn’t have to be that deep.
Like sure it was awkward… but awkward moments are inevitable…it’s a part of meeting someone new!
Plus it can serve as a moment to look back and laugh about as we get closer. An opportunity to be like, “Look how far we’ve come!!!”
