Whether that’s with a joke or a low stakes question, I try to get myself to remember—it doesn’t have to be that deep. Like sure it was awkward… but awkward moments are inevitable…it’s a part of meeting someone new! Plus it can serve as a moment to look back and laugh about as we get closer. An opportunity to be like, “Look how far we’ve come!!!” That’s so cute to me. #hingepartner

sometimes moments are so awkward that telling a joke or changing the subject doesn’t really work, so instead i acknowledge the awkwardness and laugh about it 😭😭 it normally breaks the tension

i tell a silly Joke to lighten up the mood!

when you’re in an awkward situation, I feel like being a goofy goober and telling a funny story or joke can turn the situation completely around! (unless you are not very funny, idk what to say brochaco)

Adult Ballet

I went through a phase where i took adult ballet classes a 50min drive from me, and one day my comedian online mutual was like… “let me come…” and for like 6 months we went to ballet together twice a week and slowly started recruiting more of our friends to join us. honestly great time i felt like a kid again :D #hingepartner
