June is the best time to be there! Everyone’s out for the sun. Have an amazing time. I’ve saved a bunch of stores from past trips on this google map: instore.world UK & Ireland · Charlotte https://maps.app.goo.gl/uVoRy2QXXz8gkTm77?g_st=i

not underground in any way, but i'd def recommend camden town for food/ afternoon walks/ lil stalls and souvenir shops! it's probably my favourite place in ldn. good vintage/ second hand shopping i've always heard of portobello road market & notting hill in general and although quite pricey, i've been meaning to go see for myself too :)

Lime bike around Hyde Park on a sunny day Go for a swim in Hampstead Heath Ponds (if ur brave) or London fields Lido (heated) Dalston Eastern Curve garden for coffee Brick lane on the weekend (crowd hell but the vintage market has some of the best clothes - deceptively huge and gets better the further back u go) Kew Gardens (further out but iconic) Take the cloud cable car at sunset / after dark Stoke newington has super cute cafes and great charity shops Notting Hill at the weekend is mad crowded but very iconic & postcard London vibes Pride of Spitalfields pub - cheap pints & great chat Design Museum and V&A museum the Windmill in Brixton for live music and South London pubs in general Soho / Covent Garden area is fun to explore The clink prison museum - weirdest museum I’ve ever been to Borough market is highly rated Broadway market is over rated (imo) Dalston Superstore for late nights Peckham car boot Deptford market Check up sebs art list for up to date exhibitions and happenings (will add more if I think of more!)

get the overground around Hackney ! It’s pretty! most of the museums/galleries have free collections (both Tate modern & Tate Britain, national gallery, V&A as already mentioned — V&A definitely worth a visit) . i also love the museum of the home, the photographer’s gallery, & the ICA (ICA has a cinema and brilliant bookshop also, & it’s v near Trafalgar Square so you can combine classic tourist activity with Something more obscure lol!). I am a big shopping gworl so i actually love dipping around carnaby street and libertys (which is so beautiful inside!). depends where youre staying etc and if it stays sunny but honestly the quintessential summer thing to do would be : Sit in a pub with a garden !!!!! & again - as it’s summer - highly recommend finding a gross little club or gig to go to. if I’m bored I just check resident advisor or dice and see whats coming up. if you’re comfortable sharing which area you’re staying in then I can send more specific recs hehe
