I am dying to know actually - do you drink the showerade with a strap? out of a cup? a water bottle?? Does the shower water getting into the drink enhance the experience?

@GRAPE - i usually just bring a water bottle so it’s protected😏 but also the shelf in my shower is not in the direct line of water. I am curious about the people who eat an orange in the shower- like is that soggy? Where are you putting the scraps, is the juice running all over you - seems like that would be messy and not enhance my shower experience

@VIOLETGIRL I am glad that it is such a premeditated activity for you. I don't understand the orange thing either. Personally I prefer to just wash myself and get out I am not down with all the eating and drinking people are doing in there.. but more power to them I guess !!!

@GRAPE @VIOLETGIRLI once rec’d the shower orange but I have to admit I have only shower orange’d once. So yes I am a fraud. It was recommended to me by my hippie roommate who would leave the peels in there. It wasn’t that hard to leave the pith on the shelf and gather it up after- the appeal is that you can get really messy because the water immediately washes away the juice. However i do feel it is impractical to do more than once a year. I would rather do a pre sliced bath orange

@GRAPE I would only call you a fraud if you recommended without trying. I fw a pre sliced orange bath- I recommend adding a scented candle and turning the lights off **for vibes not practicality

I love asking questions! When I'm trying to get to know someone, I make an effort to be intentional in our conversations. I love getting to know someone and finding things we both relate to!! It gets hard when the conversation becomes one sided because I feel like I'm putting in effort that is not reciprocated... I love when people ask Me questions!! As long as the questions are not overstepping boundaries, I think it's important to put an effort into the relationships you're trying to cultivate :) 🛣️

ASKING PEOPLE QUESTIONS!

asking questions encourages connection between people (even if it’s short)!! like asking a barista what they like to drink, or asking the marine educator by the tide pools about the fish in there, or asking someone in a wait line what they do for work. obviously respect people’s time and space, but going out of my way to ask questions has lead to positive outcomes! Not only do you connect with people, but you might learn something or meet someone cool :)

ASKING WHAT THEY’RE CURRENTLY “INTO”

I love to ask what people are currently “in to” - meaning current inspirations, fixations, interests, etc. 1. It’s subtle but revealing- I now know what you are interested in and get a hint at how you view life (ex. some interests can be perceived as narcissistic/surface level vs. thoughtful/curious) *Granted, not eveyone will have a good answer (or may not even be able to answer) and that will tell you all you need to know!! 2. Naturally we love to talk about ourselves and our passions so it will certainly keep the conversation going. Extra points for asking questions about what they say (maybe you’re interested, maybe you’re not- but at least it’s not awkward anymore)
