My favorite song off the new Florry record. Love the fiddle riff that goes through.
Liking the record overall, everything is a little off pitch or off beat in a way that can be off putting but the more you listen to the record really comes together into an authentically rocking record that sounds like your friend made it but also you like as much as something made by someone more established.

Dude I fucking loved this thing. I lover her voice I love the productions, the contrast of the acoustics guitar to the Grimes/St. Vincent style I think theres a lot of beautiful stuff on this record.
You can especially hear the Grimes elements on cannonball (I say Grimes it’s mostly Art Angel vibes I get).
No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire is so beautiful and such a nice contrast to the rest of the album. her voice also sounds just so good on this track specifically.
it’s so upbeat and it REALLY makes me want to dance. So so good couldn’t recommend this album more. I don’t understand how anyone couldn’t like this album.

Trying to dispel the gatekeeper within me by sharing a small (ish?) artist I found a while ago. If you’re into soulful melancholy music that gives you a twist in your gut I highly recommend her album Lucid Dreams ! It feels reminiscent of Lizzy McAlpine’s five seconds flat so if you liked that album, I think you’ll like this one :) ⭐️

I met Erin (@RIOTGRRRL) and Jake (@SLOWDAZZLE) last year after I started using PI.FYI—we organized a meetup before a Jonathan Richman show and immediately clicked over our shared taste in music and similar sensibilities. We started hanging out a lot and had some great times together. I’ve also gotten to know many of their friends, who are all really cool. Erin and Jake started dating a couple of months after the three of us became friends, but our group chat still pops off. Their friendship has meant a lot to me, especially since moving to NYC in 2023, and I really appreciate having them in my life.
