you’ve not got much to lose except potentially the hope of being friends again if they don’t reply (not that that would make it like not possible but if they don’t reply after not replying last time it might be best to accept the loss because you’ll only make yourself more upset if you keep trying with nothing back)

💔if someone's all turned around about you enough that they lead with a confession of love instead of, like, a regular flirtation, you can let them down easy and say you still wanna be friends, but it's up to them to get over it, with time. not much in your power there.
