I had a dream last night where I got to see a mentor figure of mine who was basically a second mother - I moved to a different country so I haven't seen her (or my friends from the US) for a long time - it's kind of amazing how inventive dreams can be because I felt all the emotions I would have felt
i guess this is also an anti-rec because I was a bit crushed when I woke up and realised it was just a dream

I dreamed last night that I was stopping my bff from getting back together with her ex as of like a week ago. He was scheming and begging and she was crying. Of all the years of us being friends, she’s literally never starred in my dreams.

it’s like an alternative tv show of your life with your friends and family making appearances as different characters in different scenarios
just had part of a dream where the person i like was with someone and i was damn but now ive woken up i’m like yayyy

i had a dream that a friend and I were in a middle school gymnasium and there were these double doors that my friend wanted to open and find out what was being them. the rest of our PE class was playing basketball and the PE teacher wasn't really paying attention, but then the baseball coach came in and told the PE teacher that whatever she did, she could not let anyone through those double doors because there was very expensive equipment on the other side. i turned around after seeing this conversation and my friend had opened the doors and entered the hallway behind them, which was clear of any sports equipment for the record. i poke my head through the doors to see what's going on and my friend is just walking through this normal looking hallway like it's terabithia or something just fascinated, and i leave and pretend like i'm playing basketball with the rest of the class. only my hands are stuck in my t shirt and i can't catch the ball. pretty soon the baseball coach figures out that someone opened the door and calls the PE teacher over and they corner my friend and ask her to explain herself. she get's very upset and can barely get the words out so i go hug her and tell her to breathe and we take like 3 deep breaths in and out and then i tell her to explain herself to the teacher. i then snorted myself awake.

today someone told me something about myself and they were just so completely off base that i started questioning my tone and facial expressions bc that was in no way the vibe i was going for
a related anti rec: people who meet you once and assume that they know everything about you (which they obviously don’t)
