Sometimes the best thing to do is just embrace the awkwardness. sometimes a Conversation gets awkward and the more you try to avoid that, the more the conversation becomes artificial and dis genuine. its normal to have awkward moments, and the best way to embrace it is to acknowledge it. if an awkward silence occurs maybe say “that got awkwardly quiet“ sometimes when things get awkward it’s a sign to switch subjects. If I run out of questions to ask or things to say on a date its easier to just say… I cant think of any more questions, rather than forcing something. You can always find another thing to do or! or just sit in silence without expectations. Awkward silence isn't awkward if your both know the reason why its silent 👍
