My favorite prog rock album of all time from a band I was raised on as a kid First song (I'm not typing allat) is extremely beautiful, arguably could be its own album (18 minutes long) The mandolin is amazing and the lyrics are very special to me "And You And I" is an amazing 12 minute piece that has ups and downs It reminds me of my dear older brothers and is something I love to listen to while going for a walk "Siberian Khatru" is the shortest of the 3 songs, it's really upbeat and funky and serves as a great way to end the album "Roundabout" from Yes' album Fragile was one of my favorite songs as a kid and this album feels like more of that good Yes sound that I continue to love 9.5/10

(by quickly, quickly) Beautiful less-known pop album with bits of jazz, I love every song on this one I'll review a few of my favorite songs instead of the whole tracklist: Phases - Not a big fan of the wordplay in the beginning but it's a nice intro, the rest of the song has beautiful syncopation and instrumentation and this sax solo that is just fantastic I Am Close to The River - Amazing piano, lyrics and vibe, probably my favorite song on the album Everything is Different (To Me) - Groovy song with painfully relatable lyrics It's a great album and an easy listen, something I love to play in the car when I'm with other people 9/10

ok there's a lot i like here. i love the LINER NOTES! the album was written as part of a song-a-day project that seeks to have been iteratively happening over 12 yeaes. It does feel like music that gets written when someone has refined their instincts. I feel like good iterative musical practice is as much about learning to steer impulses, and there's SOMETHING here that sings that. It feels like the gentle and magical result of doing the right thing because you've walked these paths before. idk. i love it. it also just sounds incredible!!!

😃
All killer no filler. Quintessential 90’s stoner rock/shoe-gaze. All songs are epic, melancholic rippers that leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, with a single acoustic track that serves as a sentimental intermission from the heartfelt head-banging. My favorites off the album are “Why I Like The Robins“ and “Stars“

A fantastic album from a relatively unknown Korean producer that mixes electronic sounds with folk instruments and singing, and one of my top 5 albums of all time 1. "Why" is an energetic way to start off the album and gives you a proper introduction to Mid-Air Thief's sound 2. "These Chains" is my favorite song on the album, mixing calm, beautiful melodies with intense synths and amazing percussion 3. "Gameun Duet" is a fast, catchy song with pop-like sound, lyrics, and progression 4. "Curve and Light" is one of my favorites on this album, having an energetic, overwhelming introduction along with a powerful and emotional second half filled with synths and beautiful singing 5. "Crumbling Together" is the longest song on the album and genuinely feels like a journey with its ups and downs, it's a very fun listen 6. "Protector" is an emotional, powerful song that always gives me goosebumps whenever I listen to it 7. "Dirt" is a quiet, beautiful refrain from the intense sounds of previous songs 8. "No Answer" is a calm and pleasant ending to this wonderful, chaotic album I will never forgive Anthony Fantano for calling this album the "most overrated album of the 2010s" like the songs have a few million streams at most?? "Crumbling" has been one of my favorite albums for years now and I'm hoping to see it get more recognition 10/10

(first 3 seasons only) Genuinely fantastic show with iconic humor and life lessons along the way One of those pieces of media that can be enjoyed by all ages and many different audiences That stuff about "watching it will make your kid dumber" is nonsense though 10/10, I might be glazing
