All killer no filler. Quintessential 90’s stoner rock/shoe-gaze. All songs are epic, melancholic rippers that leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, with a single acoustic track that serves as a sentimental intermission from the heartfelt head-banging. My favorites off the album are “Why I Like The Robins“ and “Stars“

My favorite prog rock album of all time from a band I was raised on as a kid First song (I'm not typing allat) is extremely beautiful, arguably could be its own album (18 minutes long) The mandolin is amazing and the lyrics are very special to me "And You And I" is an amazing 12 minute piece that has ups and downs It reminds me of my dear older brothers and is something I love to listen to while going for a walk "Siberian Khatru" is the shortest of the 3 songs, it's really upbeat and funky and serves as a great way to end the album "Roundabout" from Yes' album Fragile was one of my favorite songs as a kid and this album feels like more of that good Yes sound that I continue to love 9.5/10

taking a break from mid-20th century angst and industrial evil, this handful of songs are usually “breathers” on their respective albums and they make you feel like you’re a beautiful, romantic medieval peasant. Planet Caravan (look up alt versions too!) Embryo Orchid -personal fave Solitude Laguna Surprise Fluff

one of my fave dead-of-winter alt rock albums. melancholy guitar tone and sort of disconnected, disinterested vocals. my top tracks are window seat, smother and winter fog. i’ve also always just loved the album art. (the band’s old name was papergirl and they still appear as such on apple music).

Released 1991 A perfect blend of jazz, funk, and soul.  If you’ve ever experienced unrequited love, this song will make you feel seen like never before.  Tasteful synth, funky bass, a sax solo, and chorus harmonies that will melt your face (and heart).  Immaculate song. Try not to sing along.
