flo- pretty fun nightclub i fratellini- best sandwich i’ve ever eaten uffizi- popular art museum that SLAPS move on- pub right by the duomo that has an upstairs record store and a little place to sip drinks while looking over the plaza grom- the *good* gelato (italians get picky but this one is considered good) walk up to piazzale michelangelo- lovely overlook over the city honestly just walk around as much as you can. it’s an amazing city (:

Such a nice hotel and in a really small town (not even sure if it counts as a town) there is one restaurant right next to the hotel that made some of the most insane food I’d ever had and all for like $3 There’s another restaurant like down the hill past the cemetery This sounds kind of vague but if you’re in the town you’ll figure it out

a few random picks!

fanelli cafe in soho - trendy but historic, casual but good for celeb-spotting (though i’ve never seen anyone!) little owl in west village - cozy dinner option, not many vegetarian-friendly options tho if ur veg pastis in meatpacking - specifically their breakfast/brunch! gorgeous french toast, quiche, etc. dudleys in les - technically australian but i loved their truffle tagliatelle. great drinks too! & in case you’re dining alone - all of these have outdoor seating perfect for reading or people-watching in the lovely spring weather! :)

Do u like ur parents??

I like asking this at parties and on first dates and other introductory meetings. It's a pretty disarming question and usually elicits an honest answer. It's a gateway to much deeper convo about growing up and who the speaker is now. It has made a few people really uncomfortable though. I don't like to pry if they're off-put by the question. I usually follow-up with, yea I don't like mine either haha... (I like my flawed parents).

Insalata di Finocchio, Radicchio e Arance

This is the best Winter salad. One of the best salads ever. (period) Fennel, radicchio and oranges. Add in some grapefruit and toasted almonds for an extra *pop* of flavor and color. A little olive oil, some white wine vinegar or balsamic. All u need.

Follow your fav galleries and artists, go see the shows they're putting on.
