Recently my favorite compliments to give have been to describe someone by saying “to know them is to love them” or, after hanging out with a friend, i like telling them that it was the highlight of my day/week/month. of course I only say these things when I mean it. Beauty is all around us

This past year I have become obsessed with all that our hands do. hands help, build, create, love, share. There is so much beauty in our day to day lives you just have to look for it.
This is one of my favorite hand pictures I took this year. my coworker is opening a pomegranate to share with our class. I love how her hands are making a heart while she is separating the seeds.

Take your time with school

Took me 8 years and 4 schools to finish my degree, but when I finished it was because I wanted to. There is so much pressure to live life a certain way but it is ok to do things at your own pace in your own way. Life is not a checklist. I am so proud to have finished school because I did it in the most fulfilling way for me.
