mispronounced someone’s project name right after they explicitly told me how to pronounce it…met with two people and forgot who is who, so spent the first 10 mins waiting for one of them to refer to the other by name…this is just in the past week or so but we keep pushing

When people get after you for doing it act like you don’t know what they mean. ā€œWhat do you mean I say robit wrong it’s how everyone says itā€

I developed a pre-rehearsed self-deprecating ā€œI’m so sorry what’s your name again, I always forget and then it’s always too long after meeting to ask haha arent i brave and honest for saying soā€ kinda speech. And it’s literally always met with a ā€œhaha I’m the same way, my name isā€¦ā€ or ā€œthank god I’d forgotten yours too!ā€. (this rec may only work on British people? I’m not sure).

It’s exactly what it sounds like - an art gallery inside a u-haul truck. But if you really think about it, it’s also a cool statement about commodification of space in the city that’s stifling creativity and art. If you are in New York, check out their next show on May 8-11!! (you have to check their IG for parking details lol)
