i believe it’s pier 12? but one of the piers by the hudson offers mini golfing that’s in a very pretty area. im trash at mini golf but it was fun to just be in that area and people watch i guess

I was never much of a golfer, I’m an award-winning sailor which took up most of my time as a kid, but recently I’ve been spending a lot of time at the Chelsea Piers Driving Range. I’m not very good *yet* and I miss the balls most of the time, but when you strike it just right and it goes flying, it’s the most cathartic experience. Plus they have food and drinks!

To be honest, thought it would be the most boring thing ever. But now i recommend it to everyone. You lose any ego you might have. Might think you’re good and, well, you’re not. Go mini golf!!

superior in many ways to Big Golf . oh, what’s that? you hit the ball really really far? i don’t care about that.. where’s your sense of narrative? where’s the world-building? where’s the whimsy? i want to see you make the ball go thru a five-foot tall loop-de-loop and then enter a hole covered by a moving door at the base of a windmill in a miniaturized danish village
