This weekend will be the CryptoRave in São Paulo, so I'm kinda reccing this to myself so I don't get lazy and actually go.
The event it's part of the CryptoParty global movement that centers around the discussions autonomy, freedom, decentralization and privacy on digital spaces. Check it out if there are CryptoParties in your city or help organize one

many eons ago i made a publication about culture in the Southwest that’s bloomed into a full blown party crew based in San Antonio, we’re inviting PI.FYI alum @ALOISO-WILMOTH aka MoMA PS5 for a good old fashioned hoe down on a 10 acre ranch. I caught Aloiso’s DJ set in Austin and loved how fresh and energetic his sound was and how fearlessly he could reference new and old eras of dance music

I am in Brazil for carnaval and as my friend put it “the only thing people show up to on time in Rio is the start of a carnaval parade” and if you miss it, you MISSED it and will spend the rest of the morning looking for it and then chasing the tail end, so we have been awake since 5:30 GMT-3 and will be drinking by 7. Come to Rio!

🕵One of the things I like the most about Pi.fyi and the current scale of users is that it's still noticeable when a rec was inspired by another.
Sometimes the rec directly mentions the other, but other times you can kinda assume that reading an especific thing here triggered a memory or an ideia.
It's very cute and interesting to notice the small influences interacting with other humans online can have.
