apologies for the crazed look on my face - a 3 week long saga has come to an end with my phone FINALLY being delivered to me in Vienna. after getting my drink spiked in Lagos and leaving it in an uber, my phone was eventually recovered by my airbnb host (everyone say thank you stephanie!!!) and shipped to me in Berlin. then, somewhere along the lines it got lost by UPS (boycotting forever). it was eventually recovered and sent to me this morning. REMEMBER WHEN I SAID MY LUCK WAS GOING TO CHANGE??????

got my wallet returned

sometime last year, i went to see my brother at uni and i had planned it so i could go watch a play, see my friend's exhibition and go for a concert. pretty packed day already and i decided to have an edible after since i was staying over at my brother's place and it whacked the fuck out of me on the train back. i was at asda about to get some food to deal with my munchies when i realised i din't have my wallet :( i tried re-tracing my steps, nothing. i put in a claim with the train operator's lost and found website, didn't hear any word back. a week later, i was on messenger looking at work updates and this guy had found it on the train and reached out to me about it the day it happened. he sent it back to me with everything in it and paid for the postage as well and didn't want anything in return. it was such a huge relief, big shout out to him.

At least one freind’s phone number

Once I was on a bike ride and ended up getting a flat tire pretty far away from home. Didn‘t bring a phone or wallet, so I was well and truly stranded. Thankfully an old man passing by on the trail let me use his old flip phone to call my friend and she was able to help get me home! S/o Maddie and that old man.
