It is NOT a perfect game, but it was the perfect game for me. I love this game so much that I beat it, and then instantly made a new character to beat it again, and then ran New Game + and ++ in order to Platinum it.
Plus I just watched Jermas stream highlights of his whole Dark Souls playthrough so it’s safe to say I’m obsessed.

recently started dark souls after one year when i had quit. my god what a gorgeous franchise. figuring out the story by reading item descriptions and making your own theories about the lore is so much more rewarding than it being spoonfed to you. the music, the cinematics, the gameplay, the character designs oh my god everything is lovely
also love how quitting dark souls and then coming back to it a year later to fall in love with it is a global phenomenon lmao

Alice Madness Returns - first played it in my first year of uni at 18 and it became my whole personality, recently replayed it and it basically happened again.
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood - a recent play and the game that has me considering becoming a game writer
Death’s Door - dark souls for cutie pies. i just find this endlessly repayable because the controls feel so nice for me. Also the first “hard game” I played that convinced me “hard games” aren’t out of my ability.
Final Fantasy X - the first “real game” I played on my ps2 when I was like 10. my friends used to make fun of me for not going out to play after school because I was doing anotber ffx replay.
Shout out to the spyro trilogy and Spiritfarer - the endlessly replayable basis for my favourite kind of gameplay, and the first game to make me cry, respectively.

perfectly balanced, as all things should be
exploration without the lame ubisoft map pop ups
new things to discover on every playthough
starting classes keep things different and interesting
fantastic boss designs that leave you in awe and make you rage quit
lore and background by George RR Martin
worth the money and time tbh
game looks insane

I had one pair that I didn’t wash for 2 years cus I rotate them out pretty regularly and it would shrink if I washed them. Obviously if they’re dirty looking or if I sweat in them a bunch then I do it more. But it’s still rare.
