It’s the size of Carmela Soprano’s kitchen tv but with only 1 channel: dishwashing. I am a neat freak in a tiny apartment and this gives me so much joy. It’s not even the large/bulky dishes that are so tedious to wash by hand- it’s the jars/bottles with small ass plastic pieces/lids! Byeeee tedium!!!

If you rent in nyc you probably know that dishwashers are hard to come by. Life was keeping up with handwashing dishes like Sisyphus rolling a boulder up a mountain. Then I set this up. Takes up the same amount of space as my now replaced drying rack, and easily connects to the sink. It WORKS, Y'ALL. Surprisingly well. Had it for 6 months now and it may be the best purchase I've made so far this decade.

I live alone and bought a mini dishwasher because my apartment didn’t have one and it absolutely changed my life. Not super cheap (I think mine was like $250), but I use it at least daily and it’s saved me probably days in my life at this point (I’ve had it for two years). It might feel like a silly purchase, but it’s been huge for me

I am so over dystopia!!!! It is ugly and disgusting!! Thank you Kathi Weeks for teaching me that utopian thinking is a powerful revolutionary act! Fuck the last of us! Fuck imagining the end of the world before the end of capitalism! Fuck zombies!

Write down your dream imagery after waking, before it slips away. Better yet, make your dream analysis and sharing intuitive/prescient visions a friendship practice. Ask someone what dreams they have had recently <3

Take the time to explore phenomena historically instead of memetically. This is an act of care. Contribute to our mutual understanding of the world. Refuse to flatten human experiences. Brilliant words via Leigh Claire La Berge.
