I already started loving Parks & Rec when I started it, but I realised something which increased that liking even more. As and when you start watching different shows, you get to slowly remember the charactersâ full names. In Parks & Rec they do a brilliant job doing this and bringing different ways to bring out charactersâ full names. The biggest such way is Chris. He keeps pointing his finger at people and taking their full names (Ann Perkins, Leslie Knope xD). Ron Swansonâs name keeps coming up in different episodes (swanson pyramid, gladiator -> swanson). Tom keeps bringing out his own name (sharing his name Tom Haverford to all the new girls in Snake Hole lounge; TH writen on his merch). Parks department constantly keep taking name of Jerry Gergich (especially Leslie xD) while making fun of him. Mark Brandawiczâs keeps coming up courtesy Tom who takes his last name (and of course Mark Brandanquitz, as named by Leslie). Andy keeps taking Aprilâs full name (Ludgate) when he tried to win her back in S2. âAndy Dwyerâ keeps coming up when he fell in pit back in S1. And Leslie, of course â everyone new who comes gets introduced to- Leslie Knope as the deputy in the Parks department, by herself xD
