prom went amazingly, i didn’t win prom queen but i was runner up. number 1 was being a sneaky snake and i got too caught up in having fun so i couldn’t care less. wearing contacts is so fun bc i can see fully and i love them but it took me 10 mins to put them in and it was so hard to get them out i started to freak out. thank god for tiktok or else they’d probably still be in my eyes. thank you for the kind tips i received here too, made it easier for me to overcome my fear of contacts 😇

yall i got my eye contacts today after thinking they’d never arrive in time for prom BUT they actually did and i’m a little scared. my dad had told me no long ago but i bought them w my own money. I wear glasses but I recently started a trial for contact lenses because I need them for sport and I love them so much! I love my glasses though it is cool that I can mix it up and sometimes wear contacts instead. I know I’m late to the party but that’s ok.

many years ago i wore glasses and honestly never really liked the look, but i was blind without them. after 4 or 5 years or so i switched to contacts and my face just felt like it looked wrong for a month or two. everyone around me noticed and seemed to like it though. hearing everyone else say nice things did help it go away after a bit.
fast forward another 5 years and now im wearing glasses again lol (that i actually like this time). i still have contacts and i’ll wear them time to time depending on my outfit. i haven’t rly had that feeling since ive been switching back and forth but it feels great having the freedom to decide if i want to wear them or not. getting called harry potter is also a plus
