many years ago i wore glasses and honestly never really liked the look, but i was blind without them. after 4 or 5 years or so i switched to contacts and my face just felt like it looked wrong for a month or two. everyone around me noticed and seemed to like it though. hearing everyone else say nice things did help it go away after a bit. fast forward another 5 years and now im wearing glasses again lol (that i actually like this time). i still have contacts and i’ll wear them time to time depending on my outfit. i haven’t rly had that feeling since ive been switching back and forth but it feels great having the freedom to decide if i want to wear them or not. getting called harry potter is also a plus

I wear glasses but I recently started a trial for contact lenses because I need them for sport and I love them so much! I love my glasses though it is cool that I can mix it up and sometimes wear contacts instead. I know I’m late to the party but that’s ok.

Sometimes i want a small frame with the way i did my hair that day. Or maybe i match another pair to what im wearing. Part of the fun of being blind is to have different frames for different moods. I currently have 5 but am in the market for more. :))

its crazy to me we are now at a point where major companies are actively putting measures into their products to make them hard or impossible to fix on your own. if you take it anywhere else to get it fixed your warranty is now voided. i just paid like $1000 for this phone. do i even really own it if nobody but the company i bought it from can fix it? better yet you bring it to them and they will essentially do nothing but quote you for overpriced parts you don’t need or more likely just tell you to buy a new phone. thanks apple!!!
