Here's to hoping he NEVER sees this. I just saw him live and HOLY SHIT It was like *theeee* atmosphere! We had rain going down. I had my umbrella, so the rain was making the *perfect* pitter-patter. I liked the other bands, don't get me wrong, but being like a part of the 5 that made it for his set out in that weather⦠WOW, I don't think that will be forgettable anytime soon. I must add, this was my first live park show fiasco thing, a bit of bias on my end but, god-damn, it was awesome. AND THE VIEW AUGH HGH HG
also completely blew it trying to be cool and act like I wasn't freaking out about how cool it is that he PLAYS TWO INSTRUMENTS AT A TIME in his DMS, so I'm just gonna go over here and die now

I recently watched The Monkey for free at Chicago's Music Box Theatre β and even stuck around for Perkin's Q&A session. I have to say, it was the best movie-going experience I've ever had. An organist played the score with diabolical cymbals in the background β come on! And the movie was hilarious and equal parts gory!

I told a friend the other day I tried rolling up to the box office at MSG for Charli XCX's sold out show and my friend responded "what are you on Seinfeld?". Tea. But going to the box office is something that this digital age does not always consider. I have had much luck at any other "sold out" show in NYC by going to the box office on the day of, purchasing a ticket at face value, and strutting on into the venue. Typically the venue holds a row or so for the occasion. Unfortunately, the box office in reference at the top of this rec, did not deliver on my hopes and dreams of being Brat.

Sounds a wee bit crazy, but I am serious. Now, I am not fully justifying his reasonings, but I also will not sit here and say I was a golden child. However,,, With how often my phone was taken away as a Kid, I really think it helped me become less dependent on it. I typically leave my phone at home if I am out being social (and my boyfriend brings his, you know, for emergency). During those times, it helped me gain other hobbies of the internet, like offline games on consoles, drawing, painting, writing, hell anything creative, I was trying to figure out a way to do it. That has helped me gain more interest in continuing that instead of doom-scrolling. So, in a way, thanks dad!
