was shown this by my animation professor as an example of an alternative process and it kinda busted my bean. if i understand correctly every frame was rotoscoped and individually screen printed. wild to me that it only has like a thousand views. song is great (love a good marching band snare roll) but that video is nuts
made a music video for Rituals and itβs maybe the best thing Iβve ever done.
Making it was a sensory nightmare. Filming outside in essentially a bog in freezing cold, then spending over an hour in a milk bath, running and dancing, doing my own makeup on a forest floor when I couldnt feel my hands. but it was so very worth it.
we drove (12ish hours) from brisbane, down to wollongong, and spent plenty of time at the beach, drinking beers, and being immersed in the local music scene. so many new friends, beautiful memories and treasured film pictures.
