Best remedy against depression for me. Well right after sleep, hanging out with friends and eating good. It's low effort (bc I can do it in my room), high reward (endorphins yippee). Personally prefer Lilly Sabri's videos as she has a good balance between being motivational and reminding me to keep good form.

Here’s a video from one of my favorite instructors 💖 Alternatively: * A quick intense workout. I have the Melissa Wood Health app and she and her instructors really keep me sane. This is a free ten minute workout by her on YouTube that I LOVE. * Meditation. Tara Brach has so many for free on YouTube and the Insight Timer app! Her RAIN method guided meditations are really helpful for processing emotions. * EFT tapping. Seems wacky but it works… here’s a guided tapping video for depression. * Eat a sumptuous dessert * Drink lots of coffee * Deep clean and declutter! Very soothing * Hug a pet * Take a hot bath

Pilates is amazing bc you are exercising while laying down but pilates studios are expensive BUT move with Nicole is free. Her hypnotically soothing voice and picturesque settings will get you through any of the workouts. I like to pick something from the beginners playlist after a long day of sitting hunched over my computer sending little emails

As y'all might know, I'm a climber. Which is fun, cute, sexy and I recommend everyone to become one. Only downside is that it's def a male dominated sport. There's plenty of girls who climb, but a large majority (in our gym) is male. Meaning that the likelihood of going on an outdoor climbing trip without men.. is small. Unless, of course, you organise a girls-only climbing trip. I would highly recommend doing so. Men r great but it's also nice to only be surrounded by girls who know what's it like to climb when you have a menstrual cycle and don't have a natural knack for dynamic power. Made me feel supported, seen and connected.

Feels like the adult alternative to sleepovers as a kid. Telling eachother your deepest secrets and scariest truths while laying in the dark. Seeing the hours on your clock pass steadily, knowing it'll be a bitch to wake up in the morning but thinking that it's worth it.
