You ever bring up Steely Dan around someone you thought you knew and loved and they start saying things like โwell you gotta check out Donald Fagenโs solo work!โ It happened to me. I spent all of December listening to nothing but Steely Dan. It was really dark. I listened to Gaucho four times in a row on an Amtrak. Anyways Iโm normal again now, back to listening to other music. But Steely Dan? Pretty good.
