instead of "solving" it quickly and completely. ur allowed to just have a little look. the hesitation comes from the pressure to totally overcome the hardship or complete the whole task once you've started. i know u wanna deep clean your whole room! just straighten the items on your nightstand for a moment, and notice how life doesn't demand all of you all at once
Any complicated thing or situation can feel impossible beforehand and frustratingly obvious in hindsight. I’d take the part that feels either: a) the easiest or b) the most appealing or c) the one that will help the most. Once you’re done with one part of a complicated mess you’ll feel more moralized and ready to tackle the next bit.
when my room is a mess, i say out loud "i dont have to do this in any particular order. just gonna start touching stuff til it looks better" and then i apply that to as many things as i can. adhd literally freezes u when you don't know how ur gonna get it all done. jsut touch stuff
this site is for caring and wishing and longing and taking notes and having passion and being free to explain or not explain. im a collector and an observer. i love it here
